A Very Different "War Story"
This is a wonderful book that is surprising in several ways. It provides an intimate view of our Marines before they became Marines. It shows the dedication that these young warriors hold dear to each other and the Corps. The fighting segment is relatively brief and filled with action, but the part that was new to me and really completed the tale of honor in my mind was the personal glimpses of those that care for our military following their injuries. It really is one huge team and filled with emotional involvement. It made me feel so proud to be an American.
