The final installment in Lucy Monroe's Ready, Willing, ... and Able trilogy ends with a bang in ...and Able. In this story, Ms. Monroe creates characters that stay with the reader long after the book ends. You want these two people, so totally suited for each other, to make a go of it. You feel like you're a part of the story and watching two close friends fumble into a relationship.

I liked the secondary characters as well as the primary characters. They added color to the story and deepened the impact.

Claire's home is broken into and some of her things are stolen. It's up to Brett to not only save the files and items, but also Claire. Someone wants her dead, yet she's not sure why. She just wants to finish college and move on with her life. She keeps asking herself, who wants whatever secrets she doesn't know she's keeping? Brett wants to protect her and make her his own.

Claire and Brett want to want each other. Their friends are romantically paired up and happy. But can happiness really be in the cards for them? Brett's only desire is to be with Claire. Can they see beyond their present to make their future together?
