Dear Neighbor, Drop Dead by Saralee Rosenberg - If you have had your fill of tragedies . . .try this one!

In Mindys yoga-obsessed, thirty-is-the-new-wife neighborhood, every day is a battle between Dunkin Donuts, her jaws-of-life jeans, and Beth Diamond, the self-absorbed sancti-mommy next door who looks sixteen from the back. So much for sharing the chores, the stores, and the occasional mischief to rival Wisteria Lane.

Its another day, another dilemma until Beths marriage becomes fodder on Facebook. Suddenly the Ivy League blonde needs to be "friended," and Mindy is the last mom standing. Together they take on hormones and hunger, family feuds and fidelity, and a harrowing journey that spills the truth about an unplanned pregnancy and a seventy-year-old miracle that altered their fates forever.

Dear Neighbor, Drop Dead is a hilarious, stirring romp over fences and defenses that begs the question, what did you do to deserve living next door to a crazy woman? Sometimes its worth finding out.

If you have had your fill of tragedies . . .try this one!
This book was selected by a friend in my book club. I was initially intrigued by the title, but worried about how the book would play out. The title grabs you, but the plot and characters keep you locked in. I finished this book in a blink. Yes, the characters are over the top and some aspects of the plot are unbelievable. However, if it weren't that way, then who would want to continue turning the pages! This book is great alternative to books with heavy plots and tragedies (ala Jodi Picoult) and chick lit involving women finding love, losing love, and keeping love.

On my way now to pick up another book by this author!
