Another Great Health Food Book
I usually like books with recipes. This one is an exception! A lot of these foods are great fresh anyway or require little cooking. The pictures are beautiful. I liked the "Expert's Top Ten" showing what the famous doctors, authors, etc. choose as their top ten healthy foods.
Each section Fruits, Vegetables, Legumes and Beans, etc. are alphabetized. Very imformative and easy to read. I was glad to read that a lot of foods are very healthy that I have been avoiding. I'm sure moderation is the key , as with most anything. Eggs, liver, coffee and chocolate are not deadly foods! There are a lot of foods that are very nutritious though fattening unless used in moderation as in nuts of most kinds. Again, this was recommended by a friend and I combined it with another book to make free shipping. I think I got a great deal on Amazon.
